Alexestalex 1 Share Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) If someone came up to me with a gun and forced me to choose between cystic acne and death, I'd have a hard time making a choice LOL Thank God I don't have cystic acne....yet. I hope I never get it. Words can't describe how much sympathy and pity I feel towards those with bad acne. I really want to date a girl with facial acne for some reason. And I'm not suicidal or anything, I just want people to understand just how bad cystic acne is. My biggest nightmare is cystic acne!!! UnacceptedRealist 29 Share Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) I know what you mean, it is truly a horrible experience. Also, I have now come to understand that even once the acne becomes less of an issue, the scarring can be just as tough. It has taken my life in more ways than one. User146096 117 Share Posted August 7, 2012 Yeah, when I was at my worst, cystic acne literally left me feeling souless. I became a recluse and didn't leave the house for a year and a bit. If at that point, someone offered me that ultimatum, I'd pick death in a heartbeat. Wouldn't have required much thinking really, I craved death when my acne was in full swing.
