Wikka way 0 Share Posted September 27, 2004 My skin on my forehead is kinda weird and wrinkly after using a hell of a lot of BP over about a year. There are some tiny indents but these could just be damaged pores. The general tone is poor and looks damaged - like a grandparents skin almost. Have I done any permanent damage do u think or can it be sorted out by time and plenty of moisturiser? Please help. Thanks.
Guest Tracy Share Posted September 27, 2004 I couldn't say for certain unless I saw a picture in good lighting....however, I think perhaps you could apply some emu oil to the skin as it would hydrate and plump it up. Or even some Intense Gel from puredeming.com. That stuff's really good at re-hydrating dull, tired skin.
oldguy 1 Share Posted September 28, 2004 Nah, No permanent damage. You really should use a moisturizer though, a few minutes after the BP. And use 2.5% BP, any more just wrecks your skin for no reason and is not more effective. There are other drugs that can also work, such as Azelex, Differin, and retinols. OursFan 3 Share Posted September 28, 2004 Use an spf of at least 15 each day to minimize sun damage. The "indents" could be shallow icepicks, scarred or enlarged pores. I agree that moisturizer might be a good idea for you as well so long as it doesn't break you out.
sick_skin 0 Share Posted September 28, 2004 first off stop using BP! your skin should return to normal,....secondly why dont you go on B5 and tackle sebum over-production in your skin. Thirdly, dont start messing with it with lots of different products, a moisturiser is enough once a day.
