I'm Starting Smt D002 (Oxybutynin Chloride)

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody! I'd just like to inform you that I just received my prescription of Oxybutynin Chloride.

A poster named Radikal once tried this medication in the hopes it might reduce sebum production and acne formation based on some clinical trials of an unnamed drug.

His results were unsuccessful, but two heads are better than one, so I'm starting my 5mg/day dosage and will report what happens.

Even if my results are unsuccessful, the primary purpose of this drug is to treat hyperhydrosis. (I always have sweaty hands, feet, back, etc.) So regardless of whether my acne responds, it will be a success!

Cheers

and... what happened?

With regards to acne, nothing! I noticed no change in my acne, bad or good.

It does alleviate my hyperhydrosis however, so the original purpose of the medication was a resounding success =]

conclusion: SMT D002 is not oxybutynin chloride.

Yep, probably not. I gave up my low dose Accutane and have moved on to other more natural solutions.
