Best Cleanser For Comedonal Acne?

Recommended Posts

I have lots of comedonal acne and I just can't find a cleanser that will help fight it. I have oily sensitive skin. Anyone know of a really good cleanser for this type of acne? Yes other then cetaphil, purpose, the known ones.

Thanks! :)

Lol is that all you are doing, is cleansing? No leave-on topicals or perscription oral medicals, etc? If so, then you will never find anything to clear it up until humans create some cleanser that has nanotechnology robots that go in and clear out the pores on your face while cleansing and leave your skin perfect.

A lot of acne is hormonal...even as an adult. The best natural hormonal supplements for acne I have used are vitamin D-3 and vitamin E. Both regulate hormones. Do you ever notice your acne gets better if you spend a lot of time in the sun? This is because your body is making several thousand units of vitamin D-3 a day from the sunlight.

Recommendations:

Vitamin D-3 at least 10,000 IU a day. Softgel form (your body won't absorb D from a tablet). http://www.amazon.co...ASIN=B004N8TTBQ

Vitamin E. 400-800 IU a day. Get NATURAL form. Your body can't absorb the synthetic form very well. http://www.amazon.co...ASIN=B000EQ0C30

For a cleanser, I highly recommend CeraVe cleanser. http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=as_li_qf_sp_sr_tl?ie=UTF8&keywords=cerave%20cleanser&tag=winnerswreath&index=aps&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

CeraVe® Hydrating Cleanser provides gentle, effective cleansing while it restores and enhances the skin barrier.

The goal of effective cleansing is to loosen and remove dirt, germs, excess oils, dead cells, cosmetics and medication residues without irritating the skin or drawing away needed moisture. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser gently cleanses the skin while helping to maintain the right moisture balance. It is proven to prevent moisture from escaping (evaporating) from the skin’s surface. Its fragrance-free, moisturizing formulation is non-irritating and noncomedogenic (does not cause pimples or acne by clogging the pores).

Unique, Patented MVE® Delivery Technology

Like all CeraVe® Skincare products, CeraVe® Hydrating Cleanser offers the benefits of unique, patented MVE® delivery technology, which provides a controlled release of essential ceramides and other skin-nurturing and protective ingredients slowly over time. The unique ingredients in CeraVe® Hydrating Cleanser help restore and maintain the natural protective function of the skin, help restore damaged skin and help keep skin healthy.

Elegant Formulation

CeraVe® Hydrating Cleanser does not leave a greasy residue.

Dermatologist Recommended

Dermatologists recommend CeraVe® Hydrating Cleanser as part of a daily regimen with CeraVe® Moisturizing Lotion or CeraVe® Moisturizing Cream either alone or in combination with prescription skin medications. Ask your dermatologist about the CeraVe® Skincare line.
