Maybe someone would know the answer to this.

I had a simple questions about tea tree oil. I looked everywhere in the discussion boards and different websites but I couldn’t find an answer. Doing some research I found that tea tree oil 5% has the same bacteria fighting effect as benzoyl peroxide 5% with less irritation. I use tea tree oil cleanser foam to wash my face before I apply retin-a. Does tea tree oil have the same chemical breakdown effect on retin-a as benzoyl peroxide does? Or would it even matter since its just a face wash?

I’ve also been doing Dan's regimen for about 2 weeks and I can honestly say that my skin has really improved after using BP every morning with oil-free lotion w/ SPF 15 and every other night with retin-a 0.5%.

Thanks everyone!
