Want To Switch Moisturizer Any Recommendations?

Recommended Posts

On the regimen 5 months its going fine dont break out anymore but im sick of the moisturizer, i use it with jojoba oil and it just doesnt work enough foir me, i am still left with a big flakey face when i wake up in the morning or when i eat and move my mouth. But the worst is the yellow. It makes my skin look yellow and sick looking with yellow flakes hanging off. Some people on here say it doesnt but they are wrong, its a yellow moisturizer mixed with jojoba and licorice root and it leaves a yellow tint. I can see it clearly when compared to my white neck. So anyone have a good moisturizer to use. Cetaphil maybe? Thanks.

Hello,

I believe you live in the UK, like me, as I think this is only available in the UK,

Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Hydrating Care,

It's for oily skin, and contains licorice root! I know you might be wanting to avoid that, but I switched to this because I didn't want anything to show on my face and it works well for that. I'd recommend mixing in some jojoba oil though.

It's also a tad expensive, but the ingredients are great

I use CeraVe PM morning and night. this stuff gets rid of flakes completely. and best of all, it leaves no tint =)

I looked up that and it will cost me 35 euro all together to ship the 2 bottles to ireland from the US. How long does one of the bottles last you as they are only 89ml? Thanks.

oh wow!! well it's $12.99 here and it lasts me a month or so. but maybe you could use the cerave in the morning and dan's moisturizer at night since nobody will see the tint since you'll be in bed? =P

I use La Roche Posay Toleriane Fluid. It's pricey, but it may not be more expensive where you are since its an international company. I see all different language options when I log into their site. It has very few ingredients, none that are comedogenic. I have super acne prone, sensitive skin (everything that touches my skin breaks it out or irritates it) and it is the only moisturizer I'm able to use.

Both cerave and cetaphil broke me out. Both have comedogenic ingredients, with cetaphil being worse, but some people can use them anyway, just not me.
