WHAT can I EAT!

I am lifting weights...and I need foods that have ALOT of protein..some of the foods are red meat and chicked...can someone name a few foods that have alot of protein but dont aggervate acne?

Care to give an explanation? There is no reason at all for whey protein to cause breakouts.

Whey protein is almost mandatory, because its pretty difficult to get protein requirements in with only real food sometimes - and as an added bonus whey protein has a more complete amino acid profile than any other protein source.

Huh? Pure whey protein isolate has NO SUGAR. Most whey protein concentrates have 1 or 2 grams of sugar. How does that cause breakouts..?

Besides which, you're implying that sugar aggravates acne...and well, nevermind.

look at my sig, read my regimen; when I eat sugar of any kind, I get acne, when I don't, I don't get acne. I don't know (or care) how or why whey protein causes acne, I just know that it does, because I tried it.

Diet alone will not work; medication alone does work, but not 100%. They help each other. I've used medications consistently for more than 4 years. My skin had a great improvement, but I still got some zits. When I started a diet, it helped clear me almost 100%. I found what works for me, I told you how I did it. My job's done. You can try it or not, but either way, my face is clear now, and I know which foods to eat and which ones to stay away from.

I just bought myself the MLO brand and it has brown rice syrup in it but that only contributes 3g of sugar, not bad. This was $10 so I'm not getting much protein, only 15g, but there's other brands of Brown Rice Protein that gives as much as 27g with NO sugar added. Of course if you can eat meat, nuts, seeds, & legumes do so or do so organic if concerned about the hormones, etc.

Other good sources of protein are beans, foods derived from soybeans, and nuts. I add soy flour to cornbread to enhance the flavor and protein content.

Ive never really shopped got orgainic meat....where can you buy it..and how can you tell if it is orgainic or not??? Can you buy it at grocery stores such as HEB or Walmart grocery?

In my area (NYC) there are healthfood stores all over the place, and farmers markets also. You're looking gor the words "free-range" and "grass-fed." I like to buy organic food as often as possible, just because I can, but if you can't really afford it, there's really no difference that I've noticed between normal and organic food. Just make sure you wash all your vegetables in hot water, and apples and plums with soap or vegetable wash. You wanna wash off all the wax they put on it so it lasts longer.
