Honey Mask?

Recommended Posts

ill enlighten you on this topic

most people use the honey mask and let it sit for about 30- an hour every night for weeks to see improvements. i on the other hand like to put it on every night and leave it over night while i sleep "sleping only on my back all night" this way it really soaks into your skin and wash off in the morning. i completely spread it all over my cheeks(my problem areas) just about .5cm thick very thin layer. you do not need alot. thats it i do not put it on my face where i dont have acne. this method does work! it takes about 2-3 weeks to see solid improvments. honey is anti bacterial(kills bacteria in active acne) and its anti inflammatory(reduces redness in acne AND redmarks) so its a win win! bacterica can not survive on your face thats covered in honey.

ok some things you need to know.

you can only use 100% Pure Organic Raw Honey

not the crap out of the little bear bottle at walmart

only use it once a day/preferably over night!

if you do this during the day you still need to lay down because the honey does drip when your sitting up straight

thats it! hope it works for you!

Good luck! i saw results in my redmarks fading after 2 weeks of constant usage

Thanks, but i'm still slightly confused. I'm just trying to figure out if I can just put the honey directly on my face or if I need to make a mixture of honey and other ingredients, and then apply the mixture.

I use manuka honey and rub it all over my face (even where I don't have acne). I basically use it as my face wash.

I mix it with tea tree oil if I'm having a breakout, apple cider vinegar, or lemon juice. You don't HAVE to mix it with anything though.

Leave it on for at least 30 minutes. I agree with dude above, buy organic. It's pricey but worth it.
