Regimen That Got Me Clear With Pictures

Let me first start out by saying that I believe to have found a way to obtain clear skin no matter the severity. I have spend countless hours researching different methods and tactics in order to achieve clarity. I'm not one of those people though that is going to lie and say "I've tried every acne product available." But, I have tried ALOT of different products to cure my cystic acne.

Facts about me. 18 years old. Male. White. Had acne for about 5 years but just in the last 2 years I began to develop cystic acne. The cystic acne I have is mostly centered around my chin/jawline. I don't have acne on the sides of my face or cheeks or forehead. I have a lot of blackheads on my nose. I suffer from bad pustules above my lip under my nose. Mostly attributed to shaving but also bacteria. I have some back acne but not much.

These are the medications prescribed to me by a Dermatologist that I tried:

1)Differn(Retin A)

2)Duac (Antibiotic+Benzoyl Peroxide)

3)Minocyline

4)Doxycycline

5)Ampicillin

6)Bacterium

I am only going to discuss oral supplements in this thread. If people are interested I will discuss what I topically put on my skin as well.

Its very simple. All you need is:

1)One a day multivitamin for whatever gender you are. They make a teen, adult and 50+ multivitamin.

2)Husk Psyllium Fiber pills. I got mine at walgreenz their called multimucil or something.

3)Probiotic supplement that DOES NOT contain milk, soy, or gluten. I picked mine up at walgreenz as well. Mine is made by Phillips and its for Colon health. Make sure its a capsule and that it says on the label to take it with a meal.

Instructions:

1)Simply take the Multivitamin and 1 probiotic at the same time after you consume a meal. **Note the probiotic I have is a 30 day supply. On the label it says to only take 1 pill a day. It depends on which one you buy though, stick to the ones that are capsules for maximum effectiveness.**

2)Take 2 fiber pills 3XA day with or without a meal. NOTE: Make sure you consume at least 64Oz of water or more a day in order for the fiber to cleanse your innards.

I have been doing this oral regimen for over 6 months now and it has cleared my skin completely. Keeping the colon healthy and "moving" will aid in keeping the skin clear. If toxins build up in the gut and can't leave the body the normal way then they will end up coming out through the skin. Detoxifying the gut is a crucial step towards getting rid of your acne. After about 1 week my skin was way less oily and no cystic acne appeared. Don't say it won't work unless you have tried it.

I will answer all questions. For more information private message me please.

EDIT**

I am going to recommend a few products here that have actually worked for my skin. The first product is Clean and Clear cleanser for sensitive skin.

I use this product roughly 1-2 times a day no more. It is gentle enough for my skin.

The next product I want to recommend is Stridex Senstive skin with aloe cleansing pads. ***NOTE** Do not use this product every day, at the very most every other day** It is good to use with the clean and clear cleanser because it will exfoliate the skin.

Another product I recommend using for sensitive skin is called Acnefree Sulfur Mask. At the most I do this once a week just because it can be drying if used more. But, it is an awesome spot treatment. Simply put the mask on problem areas for roughly 15-20 minutes then wash off. It has zinc and vitamin C and really reduces inflammation of even cystic acne.

Lastly I recommend a product that is 10% benzoyl peroxide. I know I am kind of anti benzoyl peroxide but this product seems to do a good job on a problem zit. I used to use it right when I started my regimen but since then I don't really need it. Maybe for a stubborn zit on my shoulder or back but rarely ever I use it.

**Those are just a few of the many products that I have used with success.** I will update this thread with more products that I have used with success.**

One thing I want to say is that what you put in your body is just as important as what you put on it. Putting harsh chemicals on your skin in hopes that it will clear it is the wrong perspective. 3 years ago I used to use Oxy Cleansing pads and thought they were working very well when in fact they were so drying and caused more zits. I read the ingredients and realized there was alcohol in them. The alcohol caused my skin to become 40% more oily than it usually should be.

ALSO, its not so much about what goes into your body as to when it comes out. By that I mean letting the toxins sit in your gut for an extended period of time is what causes many break outs, ESPECIALLY cystic break outs. That is why the fiber is such a crucial step in this regimen. Without it I would not be clear. Some may say that you end up just being on the toilet all day and that is not true. I only have a BM 2-3 times a day. So don't feel like its going to make you have to use the restroom all day.

Yes it truly made the difference in my life. Antibiotics had destroyed my gut and I would frequently get 2-3 Pimples a day. For the longest time I dreaded looking in the mirror. I would avoid it. But now I am so confident I can look in the mirror and feel good about myself. This regimen works. My cousin who suffers from severe cystic acne began this treatment method 2 months ago and the acne has completely receded. He still has marks but their slowly fading.

Prevention is the key to getting rid of acne.

Thank you. It feels good. I hope that others will use the techniques that I have implemented into my daily life. I posted my methods here to help others struggling with the same situation I had half a year ago.

If people just give this regimen a chance they can really improve their skin to near perfection. Its simple. Just give it a chance and I assure you it can work.

Hi, I'm really inspired by your story and am going to try out your regimen because I have the same problem, but I'm taking Minocycline Antibiotics at the moment (which are not helping me -.-). I was just wondering if I should stop taking them and start with this regimen or if I should continue taking the minocycline while taking the probiotics ,multivitamins etc.

Thanks.

Hey, I was actually on Minocycline for 9 months and it was a roller coaster. The drug takes about 2 months to start working and then after that you get a better completion I guess. But, after 9 months of it I began to break out like crazy, have really bad Diarrhea (like I couldn't eat anything), and have a really depressed personality. I just stopped it cold turkey and started my regimen and it has been working way better. Minocycline kills all the good and bad bacteria in the body. By killing the good bacteria I began to develop a lot of physical issues such as rashes. If it isn't working for you I would recommend you stop taking it. Pick up the supplements that I had been using and I guarantee you will see results.

I am going to edit my first post and include some of the over the counter products that I have used on my face and had success with. Will include pictures as well.

I would also like to add something about Antibiotic use. Yes it works. But all you simply had to do prior to taking the antibiotics was to clean up your gut. By that I mean taking fiber supplements and probiotics. The multivitamin then is absorbed better and your body is overall way more healthy. Dermatologists prescribe Antibiotics like candy and they really are bad for your body. I would love to stay on an Antibiotic forever but its not possible. Just because it works well doesn't mean it is healthy for your body.

Thanks for the informative post, but I think spamming everyone's thread with this is getting out of control lol.

lol true, but I am just really excited about how much success I have had with it. I just want others to incorporate some of the things I have done into their lives.

Oh boy I forgot to add that part in haha. Yes it is just 1 probiotic a day. But, it depends on which one you get. I would avoid the ones that aren't in capsules because they will likely not make it to the gut. The probiotic I have is 17 dollars for a 30 day supply.

My acne is hormonal, would this still work?? Also, I'm taking a vitamin that my dermatologist prescribed me, and it works but i still get a few pimples here and there (more than I would like) so would I be able to do this and also take the vitamin the dermatologist gave me?

Hi my name is Na I live in Thailand I used to get the same problem many years ago but now I have found medicine that works 100%, you have to take it for 6 month and your acne will never come back. If you want to know more information email me at [email protected] this is not a sales pitch but I have to be careful promoting prescription medicine as it is banned in some countries and I dont want to get in trouble I just want to help people as I had the same problem for many years.

Yes of course you will be able to do this regimen and take the vitamin. Cystic acne is hormonal. It occurs when toxins aren't flushed out of the body properly then they come out underneath the skin. I don't stress so much the multivitamin you take but I do recommend the fiber pills. Psyllium husk doesn't matter what brand. 6 of them a day and your good. Hope this works out for you. Let me know how it goes!

Okay, I'll def try it. I don't have cystic acne though but I'm sure this will work great on the small pimples i do get. How long till you start seeing results?..Right now I only have one tiny pimple, so I'm not so much trying to clear my skin but keeping it clear so should i expect this to start happening right away?

Can you describe the fiber pills you are using? How many grams per serving? How many soluble and insoluble grams? I tried a fiber powder that contained 3g of soluble fiber per serving and no insoluble fiber. It seemed like it was working, but then I started getting insomnia, so I had to stop taking it. I was thinking my insomnia could have been caused by the soluble fiber.
