Keep Calm And Carry On

Recommended Posts

Somewhere on this site I read that people with very sensitive skin should apply bp only once a day for the first week. So I did. Then into the second week I was using twice a day and I couldn't deal. I'm not peeling anymore, or itching (thank you, gemmyjunebug!). So I'm thinking maybe my skin is ready to give twice daily bp another shot. But I'm a little scared. Ok, more than a little scared. I sort of think I should give it a full month of once daily applications. What do you guys think? Risk the irritation or wait? Keeping in mind that I have something that's kind of a big deal (to me) happening in a couple weeks. And I can't be all red and peely for that, I just can't.

i had the same problem. i started with twice a day. i did it for like 4 weeks, because i thought i'd get used to it at some point. but i didn't. so i started only applying it at night - and i apply lots. the dryness went away immediately. about 3 days later i started using a small amount in the morning, because i feel like for it to work there should always be some bp on you skin... i'm not flakey at all anymore - i am even able to apply makeup. soon i will start slowly increasing the amount of bp in the morning.

also i gave up on jojoba oil, i hate that f***ker, it broke me out like nothing ever did before...
