What Can Help With Asian Skin?

Hi,

I've had acne going on in my life for probably about 4-5 years now. I've used all the oral medication and even topical treatments. It started to frustrate me so bad that I finally went on Accutane or "Clarvis." After going on Accutane for about 6 months my acne completely vanished. It was perfect timing too for summer and university. I've been in university for the last 3 months and in the last 2 weeks I started breaking out, like mild acne. I don't know what to do, what kind of products to use or if I should try and go back on Accutane. What's a good regime for Asian Skin? I'm 19 turning 20 next year if that really matters. I heard Exposed Skin Care is pretty good, but I don't know if it'll work for me, has anyone tried it?

These are the products i'm currently using:

  • Burts Bees Rosewater and Glycerin Toner (however it has been discontinued now, just using what I have leftover)

  • Neutrogena 3-in-1 Acne Stress Control

  • Clean & Clear Mark Treatment

  • Benzagel 5

I've also started taking 2 50mg zinc pills, vitamin e and vitamin b6. I've also been drinking green tea twice a day and lots of water.

I'm willing to try anything, doesn't matter how costly I just want to be able to get rid of the acne or at least control it.

Note: My acne only appears on the left and right of my face like near my jawline, not on my cheeks or my forehead. I read that it had something to do with hormone imbalance? If that is the case what do I do to fix that. I also exercise regularly too and shower twice a day.

Please help!!

Go get allergy tested for food. Wheat, Soybean, Rye, Peanut, Milk, Egg White/Yolk, & Celiac Panel is a good start. Request IgG & IgE for each one. In the mean time live on salads w/vinegar based dressings, apples, bananas, Gluten Free rice, yogurt, and 100% fruit juice.
