Raw/rash From Popping Pimple. Suggestions?

Woo..haven't been on here in a while! My acne has been pretty good lately so I haven't found the need to come on here as often. However,I recently got a huge, painful under-the-skin pimple due to that time of the month. I knew it would take weeks to go away so I attacked it with sulfur masks, ice and tee tree oil. After 2 days it came to a head and I carefully popped it. It wasn't fully ready to come out though. I then rubbed alcohol and hydrogen peroxide on that sucker and got left with a nice dry, peeling rash. I've been putting lots of moisturizer mixed with neosporin on it for about 3 days now. It looks gross and flaky under makeup and I am NOT about to exfoliate it,irritating it even more. My question is,should I keep continuing what I'm doing or should I be putting something else on it? I want to heal it asap! Thank you

i usually see dramatic results by putting neosporin and a band-aid for the night for several nights in the row. i do it for cysts with or without a head, popped pimples, and that raw irritated skin i've got from picking.
