SecretWonderland 0 Share Posted October 22, 2011 Hi, I have had this pink/red/purplish pigmentation where I had a spot/wound from picking it too much. I have also been left with a tiny "dip" (scar). I don't mind the dip, but is there any way I can speed up the healing process for the pigmentation to go. I have dark olive/light asian skin. I have had it for 5 months. It's not going Any peroxides or chemicals I can use?
Avenger 31 Share Posted October 22, 2011 They will heal on their own but it's a long process taking months to years. You can speed up the process with an AHA lotion. Some also recommend bio oil.
ihatemynose 8 Share Posted October 22, 2011 Make sure you moisturize it, it will take a while for it to heal.
californiaEstie 86 Share Posted October 22, 2011 I would use a product designed for hyperpigmentation with stable active ingredients, also yes, keep it well moisturized and always wear sunscreen on your neck+face.
