Can Someone Please Explain

Ok I'm having troubles identifying cysts versus huge red inflamed zits . Like il not sure what cysts are , I google images and what they are but still don't know what they are . Or modular acne as well. It's all SO complicated .

Well, the main thing (for me at least) is that cysts HURT. Not like a normal zit... its a deep, pulsing pain. It really feels like there's an infection in your face. When I had my first big cyst, I lied awake at night because the pain kept me awake.

Another thing is the difference when you pop it. Yeah, I know, I know, popping is "bad"... but I'm a strong believer in popping. For me, my zits never go away unless they're popped. But anyways, in a normal zit, the white stuff that comes out is firmer. In a cyst, the white stuff is much more fluid. Much more blood and that weird golden oil comes out than in a normal zit. You also don't really have to "squeeze" cysts; once they rupture, everything just kind of gushes out.

My cysts also tend to have a more purple tint than the usual red/orange of inflamed zits.
