New Member, Thinking About Accutane [Pics]

Recommended Posts

Hello guys and girls I'm new to this community, but surely not new to acne. I have suffered from it since the age of 14/15 up until now, I am almost 18. I have been on oxytetracycline antibiotics for about a year now and it has my acne under control. The problem I have now is all these red marks, and now when ever I brake out on my right side it doesn't appear as a pimple , it seems like a red mark. And when I brake out on my left side it appears as a normal pimple, as in it is bumpy and feels a little painful.

Your skin looks good, especially the first picture.

Personally I wouldn't think you would need accutane. A simple AHA lotion could probably take care of the red marks.

Have you been to see a derm?

I would just use an aha lotion or cream every night if not every other night. Also use an oil free moisturizer on the nights u r not using the aha. What kind of cleanser r u using?
