It is known that SLS, a foaming agent, can cause irritation to your face and impose some health risks but according to this article, SLS would only have this risk if it has been mixed with other substances to form a "chemical cocktail" that may cause it to be carcinogenic. SLS is probably present in about 80% of facial, body, and hair care products and some have more in it than others. I think if it's at the bottom half of the list of ingredients then it has 1% to <1% which is safe to use for a prolonged period of time. You know what, Cetaphil has it!
