junkeroos 0 Share Posted September 10, 2004 It is known that SLS, a foaming agent, can cause irritation to your face and impose some health risks but according to this article, SLS would only have this risk if it has been mixed with other substances to form a "chemical cocktail" that may cause it to be carcinogenic. I think if it's at the bottom half of the list of ingredients then it has 1% to <1% which is safe to use for a prolonged period of time.
