Little Bumps Everywhere On My Face :(

Hi Everyone,

I have a problem which is stressing me big time.

I have noticed that my face has tiny little bumps everywhere and some of them are whiteheads. These tiny bumps are mainly on my forehead, around my nose, above my lips and most horrifying on my lips.

Acne has been a part of my life for approximately two years and it seems to be getting worse as they will not go away. I looked to the internet for help and with so many trials, I was able to find a regime that worked okay for me. I would wash my face with my face with MAC gel cleanser and then moisturise it with Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel. I would occasionally use a scrub from Simple. However, I still was not 100% satisfied with the results as I would constantly have breakouts.

I happened to find this website and looked at Dan recommendation for when buying a gentle cleanser and read that Sodium Laureth Sulphate is bad for the skin. The MAC green gel cleanser has this ingredient, so I decided to switch cleansers immediately and found the Clean & Clear Deep Action Refreshing Gel Cleanser in my parents room.

For the first few days, I saw a difference, my skin was not as oily, there were a few tiny bumps and I could finally see my brown complexion. However, it is now day 7 (I think) and the tiny little bumps have doubled.

When I first noticed the tiny bumps, I decided to stick with the regime just a little bit longer as we all know that for some people our face gets worse before it gets better. However, I am really worried.

Are these tiny bumps normal or is it a reaction to the Clean & Clear Deep Action Refreshing Gel Cleanser.

Please help

Acne is the most confusing skin hazard, I've used different treatments and they work for a while then the acne seems to become immune for one treatment and that I don't get I hope for people like us acne can be cured out right because it lowers self esteem

I completely agree with you. I really do hope a cure is found for acne very soon.

It's gotten to the point where I do not really socialise with people, because all I do is stare at their beautiful face and worry that they are looking at my face. There is only so much make up can cover and I try not to wear make up often, so that my face can breath properly.

Have you ever tried any oral medication for your acne? and have you tried the BP regime yet?

I have the exact same problem. I will give you the biggest piece of advice.. DO NOT SQUEEZE THEM. I've suffered with them for about 3 years, and I can't count the amount of times where I just thought squeezing them would get rid of them and my face would be red raw and bumpy after i'd finished. This causes scarring. Please please leave them, it makes them worse.

Do you suffer from inflamed spots too? If so , sounds like you have the same skin as me. Little bumps everywhere, with new spots appearing on a regular basis.

I have tried antibiotics, dianette and both made my skin worse. I have given up on them as they are short term solutions. I have also tried benzyl peroxide.

I recently went to the doctors for the 50th time. I was prescribed Duac gel, which you apply once daily. Honestly, this is absolutely amazing. I've had no new spots and i've been using it a week. I ALWAYS get a new spot every day usually. It does dry your skin out - it wouldnt work otherwise! But i honestly feel like i've found something that will get me through. Please try this! It is fantastic. Also read reviews online, so many peope have said it worked for them too, and i usually find it hard to believe cos everyone is different but I am so happy with the results so far.
