I really need help now. I have school pictures coming up soon, but there is one problem. I have a zit (about the size of a pencil eraser) on my chin. I know that acne doesn't typically go away overnight, but I kinda need this one to go away. Here is what I have at my disposal:

  • Neutrogena Acne Control Lotion (2.5% BP gel from the Neutrogena Complete Acne Therapy System)

  • Clean & Clear Popped Pimple Relief Gel Pen (2% salicylic acid gel that also works on active pimples)

  • Boots Expert Anti-Blemish Serum (just bought it three days ago) (serum with willowbark extract for SA source)

  • Oxy Clinical Clearing Treatment (5% Benzoyl Peroxide lotion)

  • Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 (you know what that is)

  • Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment (you should know what that is, too)

  • Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Triple-Action Toner (alcohol-base toner with 2% SA

Done. As you can tell, I have a lot at my disposal. As of right now, I only use the Boots serum with a Neutrogena cleanser (Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Power-Cream Wash) and a SPF moisturizer from Garnier in the morning (this is my main routine). Right now, I am applying ice to the zit. So, again, what should I use to make sure my face is pretty clear for picture day (especially this one pimple). Thanks!!!!

Betadine. It's the only OTC topical that will actually kill ALL bacteria, yeast, fungi, and protozoa on your skin. It's what they use in hospitals to prep for surgery. You need to leave it on for a full 90 seconds before rinsing off. It will leave an orange stain, but this fades in about 15 minutes.
