What Is It Called When Your Acne Is Hardly Visible In Certain Lights?

Recommended Posts

What I mean is, I get spots, mainly red bumps more than whiteheads, and in certain lights I can look in the mirror, and only the raised ones are visible, but the red flat scars from previous bumps are not. In really bright light, it brings out all of blemishes and it looks like I've been bitten all over.

Why is that?

The worst offender is fluorescent lamps. Those give off a very harsh, penetrating, white light. Nothing you can do about it except work on your regimen and avoid mirrors in bathroom stalls :D. Natural light obviously has a soft yellow tint so it blends and complements your skin tone.
