Cystic Acne causing swollen glands?

I have major bad cystic acne at the moment. In the past I've had regular acne with the odd cyst or nodule but right now I have about five cysts all really close to each other on my chin by the right, one smaller one on my right cheek and one on each side of my forehead.

Most of these don't worry me but the ones on my chin are very bad, it's incredibly swollen and heavy kinda like one uber cyst. One of these bumps did come to a head so I was able to get some pus out but not much.

I have now noticed that under my chin in the same area is swollen and painful to touch, it feels like a swollen gland the same as before I get a cold or flu. The question is: am I getting a cold or is this my immune system coming to fight the acne? If it is that would be awesome my antibiotics are not doing a great job right now.

I get swollen glands under my chin and jaw line everytime I get a bad cyst/spot. I currently have a raised gland, it's so painful. My GP says its normal if you have bad spots, they're fighting the bacteria.
