Do I have to be clean shaven for the regimen?

I like to have a little stubble since I am 20 so it makes me look a little more mature and professional. I'm wondering if I can keep doing this or will it affect the regimen? The reason is on the sides of my face it's perfectly clear that hair is......

Just to note on a lot of regimen pictures I see everyones clean shaven so it worrys me.... help?

From personal experience I find that being clean shaven is necessary for topical treatments to be absorbed by the skin, rather than it just sitting on the hair. However, I wouldn't imagine that having a bit of stubble would make much of a difference. Experiment maybe?

If the acne that needs to be treated is under all that stubble and hair then its would be better to shave, but if theres no acne underneath your facial hair then I see no need for you to shave there or even do the regimen in that area.
