SOS - New scar forming as I speak!

Recommended Posts

I have an ice pick forming smack RIGHT between by eye brows because the scab came off today! Tomorrow I'm rushing to the derm to see if there is anything to do while the wound is still somewhat fresh, but I fear it's going to be healed by tomorrow with a nice crater behind. NEED ADVICE QUICKLY. I feel like I want to aggravate the wound to make it bleed again so another scab forms but I don't know what I'm doing.

I know scars aren't the end of the world, but the fact this thing is forming perfectly between my eye brows really disturbs me. I'm willing to spend several hundreds if I can help prevent this.

use ALOE VERA the natural plant!! not the cream or gel that they make..u can buy it at shoprite for a dollar

I fortunately already have an aloe vera plant in my house. I applied some and will leave it on over night. Based off this, http://www.stbotanica.co.uk/magazine/how-t...ice-pick-scars/ there are various other methods too with aloe gel being one of them. Would be nice to avoid laser resurfacing.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I'm anxious to hear other thoughts.

Thanks, that's what I've been doing. I keep reapplying it every few hours because it seems to dry up quickly. Oddly the wound is scabbing again since I started applying it. Very interesting. Go Aloe go!
