Excision

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever ordered a skin biopsy tool and tried to do punch excision yourself? I have been contemplating it but am afraid to try it. Since we don't have the ability to do stitches one could use glue (this is what I hear doctors are using now since people are complaining of the scars from stitches) and steri-strips.

Sorry, but this sounds like a stupid idea.

Also glue and steri strips should only be used on very small wounds.

I don't think people who are not derms or surgeons have the ability to do this right.

Not even most derms are good at it :)

I know a lot of people do things at home to save money so I just wondered if anybody had tried it. I have to agree with you that not all derms are good with this!! I would be afraid to try this especially on the face!!!!

lol. Not even a surgeon could do this without leaving a less than standard scar behind. This thread should be deleted by a mod to prevent someone from committing self-harm.
