My journey on Epiduo...

Recommended Posts

Hi guys. So, I've had bad acne for like 2 years now and I was so embarrassed to go to the dermatologist because I didn't want ANYBODY looking at my skin. I finally caved though because, after all, they are the pros on what to do with skin. I was prescribed Soldoyn which are pills. I began taking them every other day the first week so my body could get use to the medication then the very next week I started taking them everyday as described. I took it for a month before I started itching like crazy. It was horrible. I google side effects of this medication and it said if you experience itchiness then stop taking it immediately because it means you may have an allergic reaction. So, of course I stopped taking it. So that was the end of that. My dermatologist also prescribed Epiduo gel and so far I haven't seen any dramatic changes but as i was told, it will take time. I've been applying the gel every night since I'm suppose to apply it once a day. I can honestly say I haven't been getting multiply zits on my face at one time like I used to. So I'll update again soon on my progress. Also, I realized that I actually never stuck through a routine because I was always craving fast results. So, I will keep that in mind. That it WILL TAKE TIME. If no other results haven't occurred in the next 3 months then I will know if this product is for me. Okay! I'm done rambling. LOL
