Are You A Protein Type?

I have a theory that a lot of people, especially those with persistent moderate to severe acne, are protein types.

A protein type under the metabolic type system is someone who has a type of in-born metabolism that thrives on fat and protein, but does not process carbohydrates well. This leads to all sorts of health problems, one of which could be acne.

So...are you a protein type?

Nope I don't do the cream anymore...I mostly did that when I was switching over to a high fat diet and now I seem to have corrected my fat imbalance so I don't crave it anymore.

I still drink whole milk pretty regularly, and have some whole milk cheese.

I finished taking the quiz and to my surprise I'm a protein type. Maybe you're getting on to something here. Why do you suppose most acne sufferers are protein types?

Anyway, my acne severity is moderately severe as typed by my derm, but right now it's mild due to applying Retin -a and BP on a daily basis. I used to be 100% clear a few months ago, and now I'm 80% clear. I really don't know what happened.

Going back 300,000 years in the cavemen days. Our primary sources of food was protein and fats.

We got this from animals which were high in protein and omega 3 essential fatty acids.

Now animals are farmed and fed a load of crap these days, their essential fatty acids are so low due to the diet they are fed. This means or omega 3 in take also goes down. Over the years this have been replace high carb foods, processed chemicals and so on. This has lead our omega 6 to omega 3 ratio to be around 15:1. Ideally this ratio should be 2:1 in favor of the omega 3's

So yes, i would say most people are carb sensitive and need to decrease carb consumption by a long way. My carb intake is like 20% of my diet. When i tell people fat is 40% of my diet they look at me like an alien.

Also, just something to consider, at least in the USA, pretty much anything with a grain in it is genetically modified. I saw they're trying to genetically modify fish now as well. So there's a lot of things to consider when it comes to the food we consume. We'd all probably have a lot less acne if we grew our own plants and had our own animals lol. Also, a friend of mine suggested our blood types also determine the types of food our bodies most prefer http://www.webmd.com/diet/eat-right-for-your-type

I don't know whether I am protein type or not but I take more protein foods in my diet because I know protein foods are best for maintaining the body weight and building the muscles.

I take more natural protein foods in my daily diet in shape of dairy producats, eggs, meat, chicken, green vegetables, and green beans.
