zinc oxide removal

Recommended Posts

I did a search for posts regarding removing zinc oxide cream from the face, but I can't seem to find the specific posts I had read.

I used a baby rash cream called Penatan in my beard area to help my red marks. It soothed the skin wonderfully, but it's 2 days later and I still have a bit in my beard (little dried white flakes).

The pores in the beard area are bigger, and a bit deeper than regular pores, in order to accomodate the hair (I guess), so baby wipes and SpectroJel aren't working. I can't get down close enough in the pore.

Is there some sort of remover or soap for sensitive skin that could get it off without rubbing?

And please not paint thinner! I'm sensitive. bb_lol.gif

Diluted apple cider vinegar may get the gunk out. It is acidic, so should work. Try it very diluted initially. If that doesn't work, dilute it less. I would apply it with a cotton ball and then rinse with warm water.

Just a thought.
