Hello, I have several of what I believe are boxcar scars that have formed in the past 2-3 years. This picture shows some of the mature scars on my face along with 2 indented red marks that have stuck around for about 5 months. As with many other forum members, I'm quite unhappy with these marks, and am particularly concerned about these 2 new scars forming on the front of my face.

1) Has anyone had any experiences dermarolling similar scars? How often and what needle length and creams worked?

2) I'm currently using differin along with benzoyl peroxide and an AHA lotion ton prevent new acne. Will this interfere with Derma rolling? Is it better to use tretinoin when dermarolling?

3) Will I be better off acting sooner than later on these 2 red marks, and will rolling help reduce redness?

Thanks for your advice!

2. Dermarollers allow topicals to be absored around 10,000 times more effectively. I wouldn't use them the same day as your dermarolling session.

3. Rolling can help with hyperpigmentation, though I've little personal experience with marks others have had good results.
