Anyone heard of this Low GI sugar substitute

Ive been reading about this sugar substitute that is used in Japan that is similar to sugar except it is very low GI and low insulinemic.

It also doesnt have the same stomach problem causing properties as sugar alcohols (like maltitol or sorbitol)

Ive bought some to use as a pre-workout energy booster as my usual bowl of oats (which works wonders in terms of energy) breaks me out badly, yet without it, I always feel weaker than usual when working out.

Has anyone had any experience with this stuff? its pretty low key from what I gather, fairly new aswell....

Palatinose is the tradename but the scientific name is Isomaltulose.
