Hello, I have completely cured my accutane side effects by taking a combination of probiotics and anti fungal/anti parasitic supplements. Which are:
-black walnut hulls
- wormwood
- l glutamine

I had candida overgrowth because accutane weakened my gut lining and disrupted gut flora. I also had parasites . Now I am cured. I can't believe I found the cure.

I had depression, mood swings, sexual dysfunction caused by accutane treatment.

I had white coating on my tongue , from imbalanced gut flora . Now it is disappearing day by day , along with my other side effects.

again, youre not answering the question people on here need.

what dosages did you take???
and for how long before you noticed any results???

did you ever have dry skin?   most on here just want the oil back on their skin.

are you shiting me? this cant be the cure. Its vitamin D! the cure is so vitamin d for like the next two months.its 100 percent the vitamin d doing it. its also 100 percent the copper doing it too! so like 200 percent! your crazy man. this is crazy. it is so vitamin d...

seriously though i noticed my tongue coating getting better too when i was taking biotin. biotin in higher doses is supposed to fight candida so there might be something to this as well.

What would anyone suggest for anxiety?
Anyone got advice about L-tyrosine - I have seen it mentioned - worth a try?

Wow, that's very interesting!
Nobody would expect that we could have a candida overgrowth.

Some people had a successfull treatment with cannabis oil or liver flushes if we look a bit back in this thread.
Your treatment with your supplements have maybe more or less the same effect.

Everybody can easily check themselfs if they suffering on candida with a look on their tongue (white covered surface) and with a saliva test  in a glass.

@hatetane

If you go with Tyrosine take some dl phenylalanine, I found a slighter higher ratio of P over T reduced anxiety from when I took T initially by itself.

each stimulates dopamine production. And work well. However the results faded away after around two months with me. I had read this from a previous user aswell, specifically trying to improve after accutane. Edited by Iamme.

you guys should  take a look at this. there are related connections to this other drug called mefloquine. i believed used in war time since the 70s and places like afghanistan to cure malaria. its got some nasty long term side effects. one of the theories is it induces vitamin a toxicity in the liver and eventually causes spillage out into the blood stream that effects the brain. basically like wilson's disease except with vitamin a.
the other big one is it may prevent the body's ability to break down acetylcholine. this can lead to a whole host of issues as well. they are looking into the long term side effects of this drug more because so many soldiers have taken it. they are being diagnosed with post traumatic stress syndrome, but it is much more then that. check it out.

Mefloquine Toxicity and Reversal.
http://www.publicpolicypirate.com/?p=3221

Mefloquine use, psychosis, and violence: A retinoid toxicity hypothesis

Mefloquine use has been linked to severe gastrointestinal and neuropsychiatric adverse effects, including cognitive disturbances, anxiety, depression, psychosis, and violence. The adverse effects of the drug are thought to result from the secondary consequences of hepatocellular injury; in fact, mefloquine is known to cause a transient, anicteric chemical hepatitis.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3718722/

This is seperate.

The action of Mefloquine could in fact be compared to a nerve agent, as it prevents the body from being able to break down acetylcholine, which is what causes the dysfunction in the nervous response from transitioning between the sympathetic and parasympathetic reflexes, and leads to skeletal muscle breakdown, breathing issues, and cardiac complaints.  This inability to break down acetylcholine increases the likelihood of anxiety and fear-based responses to stimuli such as mild social gaffes, loud noises, fast movements, and increases the likelihood of insomnia and sleep disturbances.

Symptoms of High Acetylcholine http://mindrenewal.us/page13.html(obviously this is very broad, so not sure about the truth of all this.just started looking into this. figured I might as well post it.)

Supplements that significantly increase ACh: choline, lecithin, fish oil, flaxseed oil, other.
Subdued or depressed mood
Anhedonia (inability to experience pleasure)
Difficulty concentrating
Difficulty with higher-order or complex thought processes
Mental fatigue
Mental confusion
Memory problems
Decreased motivation
Feeling overly sleepy or tired (particularly in the evening), despite adequate sleep and rest
Difficulty understanding or performing tasks
Pessimistic, negative ideation or rumination
Feelings of helplessnes and hopelessness
Fretfulness
Irritability or anger
Emotional heightening and lability
Sadness, tearfulness
Blurred vision
Headache
Dry mouth
Altered sense of smell; heighted sensitivity to odors; olfactory delusions
Stomach pain or discomfort
Intestinal gas or bloating
Diarrhea or constipation
Nausea, dizziness, and vomiting
Muscle pain or discomfort
Joint pain, discomfort, or swelling
Tooth or jaw pain or discomfort
Tingling or numbness in arms or legs
Muscle weakness
Increased urinary frequency or problems with bladder control
Flu or cold-like symptoms
Weakening of immune system and increased susceptibility to illness
Cough
Nasal discharge
Chills or sensation of cold
Cold feet, hands
Sleep disturbance
Introversion
Anxiety
More and vivid dreaming, and higher incidence of nightmares
Decreased levels in the brain of the neurotransmitters, serotonin, norepinephrine,  and dopamine

I had candida overgrowth because accutane weakened my gut lining and disrupted gut flora. I also had parasites . Now I am cured. I can't believe I found the cure.

@eph95Could you please share more details? Did you have large parasites like worms or microscopic parasites like Blastocystis hominis?
How long was your treatment?

I'm super interested in this as that's the path I'm about to take: attack all forms of infections. My symptoms indicate someone who has just been absolutely taken over by fungi and/or parasites. I've done many anti-candida and anti-microbial protocols but I've never used the most potent stuff. As an example, wormwood is very potent and can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. I've always used stuff like berberine, mastic gum, oregano oil, garlic extracts, neem, etc.. I've now learned of better substances and delivery methods.

I've already stated this before but my approach will include liposomal artemisinin (an extract of wormwood/artemisia), liposomal colloidal silver, 100% pure gum spirits of turpentine, chlorine dioxide, and ozonated essential oils (both orally & rectally: here's an interesting article on using suppositories for healing - link). Each one of these compounds is VERY powerful on its own.

Before I start treatment, I'm building my immune system up with beta-glucan and chaga extract. Looking back on the past 3 years allows me to see that it's very possible that the drug just destroyed my immune system and microbes just took over. I wouldn't be surprised if we were harboring dozens of crazy infections like bartonella, protozoal infections like babesia, certain parasites (intestinal & systemic), etc.. Also, detoxification is key I believe. Throwing all the anti-microbials in the world at these infections won't make a dent unless our immune system is functioning properly; being full of toxins (including Accutane) prevents our immune system from working correctly.

*By the way, for those who purchased hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin in the hopes that it would pull Accutane out of your body:
Remember how we needed to get the substance into the blood by other means besides oral? Well I just learned how to create suppositories using coconut oil or cocoa butter. Just heat up the substance until liquid, pour in mold, add ingredients (i.e. HP-B-CD), cool back down so it solidifies, insert. This gets it straight to the liver via the rectal veins to the splenic veins then to the portal system.
@Walden Rev Did you have any luck with the cyclodextrin suppositories? I remember you said you would get irritated when using it. That's a sign the liver is under stress. However, this could be a sign that it's working and pulling crap out of your liver. I'd guess that would be the case. I never went that route. I am going to see if liver flushing alone can get it out of me. At flush #10 currently. Edited by yetanotheraccutanevictim

if we dont have the oils in the skin (squalene) its hard for us to make Vitamin D.   could be part of the endless loop.

Just because there's a lot less oil doesn't mean there's no oil. I agree with what youre saying but an endless loop might end with the right amount of consistent sunlight.

I've tried supplementing with vitamin D3 up to 25k per day. In the long run it didn't do jack. I'm giving it a shot in the sun each day. I'm keeping a log. So far there are some positive signs but it's only been three days. Edited by Accustained

did you ever get tested?

did you take anything with the D like magnesium and K2?

some snippets i found:

A landmark paper from the Vitamin D Council asserts that a form of vitamin A, retinoic acid, can block the activity of vitamin D by weakly activating the vitamin D response element on genes. Since vitamin D levels are crucial for human health, that means it is essential to have the proper ratio of vitamin D to vitamin A in your body.

This means that vitamin A supplementation is potentially dangerous. Vitamin A production is tightly controlled in your body, the source (substrate) being carotenoids from vegetables in your intestine. Your body uses these carotenoid substrates to make exactly the right amount of retinol. But when you take vitamin A as retinol directly, such as in cod liver oil, you intervene in this closed system and bypass the controls.

It may be, then, that an extreme imbalance between vitamins A and D leads to the synthesis of abnormally high amounts of MGP. If there is enough vitamin K to activate all of the MGP, it will help protect the soft tissues from calcification. If, instead, the vitamin K cannot keep up with the level of MGP being produced and the pool of vitamin K becomes depleted, soft tissue calcification ensues.

I have pointed out elsewhere that even modest amounts of vitamin D, whether provided by UV-light or in the diet, decrease liver stores of vitamin A; when the doses of D are larger, they decrease plasma levels of A as well. This suggests that vitamin D increases the need for and turnover of vitamin A. The data in the Tufts study suggest that vitamins D and A both increase the turnover of vitamin K2, but that vitamin A has a special effect of curbing the huge increase in the need for vitamin K2 in the kidney. Thus, vitamin A both calms the waves rocking the boat of vitamin D toxicity while helping to steer the ship at the same time, navigating the passengers to safety.

Several suggestions have been made about possible mechanisms by which vitamin A might interfere with the function of vitamin D:6

  • After each activated vitamin binds to its respective receptor, each must bind to a second receptor called the “retinoid X receptor” (RXR). Since vitamins A and D both must bind to the same secondary receptor, vitamin A could competitively inhibit the binding of vitamin D to the RXR.
  • The active form of vitamin A, retinoic acid, can induce the expression of the enzyme 24-OH-hydroxylase, which causes the inactivation of vitamin D.
  • Vitamins A and D could compete for absorption in the intestine.

One study showed that the RXR is in short enough supply in a particular type of pituitary cell that vitamins A and D can competitively inhibit each other in this way, but another study showed that the RXR is supplied abundantly in bone marrow cells and that this is not a mechanism of competition for the two vitamins in bone marrow.74 No studies have demonstrated this type of competition in bone or intestinal cells.

Although two studies found that activated vitamin A induced the expression of the 24-OH-hydroxylase enzyme in mice after eight and 18 hours, one study showed that this is simply a temporary flux, and that the subsequent decrease of activated vitamin D actually depresses 24-OH-hydroxylase over the long-term. Vitamins A and D have the same interactive effect on serum calcium and phosphorus levels even when the form of vitamin D used is a synthetic isomer that cannot be destroyed by the 24-OH-hydroxylase enzyme, indicating that this effect has nothing to do with vitamin A encouraging the inactivation of vitamin D.34

One study showed that high levels of vitamin D lowered vitamin A stores in the liver and lowered the level of vitamin A in the blood.39

- See more at: http://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/abcs-of-nutrition/vitamin-a-on-trial-does-vitamin-a-cause-osteoporosis/#appendix2

Likewise, Johansson and Melhus found that vitamins A and D had antagonistic effects on serum calcium levels in humans, but that the amount of one vitamin absorbed did not appear to be affected by the administration of the other vitamin.27

On the other hand, there are examples where one vitamin may truly interfere with the other vitamin’s function. For example, stem cells in bone marrow may differentiate into (turn into) either granulocytic cells or monocytic cells, which are two different types of white blood cells. In one particular type of bone marrow cell, retinoic acid induces granulocytic differentiation, while calcitriol induces monocytic differentiation. Calcitriol exerts a dominant negative effect on retinoic acid in this cell, meaning that calcitriol inhibits the action of retinoic acid, but retinoic acid does not inhibit the effect of calcictriol. In this case, part of the mechanism by which calcitriol acts is to actually knock the vitamin A and its receptor right off the gene that it is binding to. In other types of bone marrow cells, however, vitamins A and D both induce the same type of differentiation,74 and in leukemia bone marrow cells, vitamin D adds to the effect of vitamin A in inducing a particular type of differentiation, but has no action by itself.50

I got tested about four years ago but I don't recall the number. It for sure wasn't high.

I was taking ZMA around the time I was supplementing with D.

I've never gotten lab tests before without going through a doctor. Does anyone know how to go about this?

Pretty sure there's a few online companies but I believe they can only measure saliva through the mail.

easiest way for me is to collect a few ideas and then off to the doctors to tell him those things. They generally don't care as where I'm from they're free and normally deal with colds and sick certificates for work etc.

That's funny cause I used to work in an ER and I know how to take my own blood. I guess they don't trust sending phlebotomy equipment to people hahaha. Yea man I'm out of work right now an to get to the doctor, well fuck, truth is I don't want to deal with doctors. If I got cancer tomoorrow, I wouldn't get it treated if they tried to give me chemo drugs - I'd have to fight them on that part of it. I don't even have a GP right now.

No question the more POISON you take and the LONGER , the worse your off.  Multiple courses will guarantee severe life long side effects heck even a small dose will mess you up a bit as I have found out.

Mine was 2.5 grams 1.5 months. Enough to MAIM me but not destroy me lol.

Were you ever tested for Hyperparathyroidism. Also, I see you TSH is .85 here in the U.S. that is close to hyperthyroidism. Though your T4 and T3look okay.  Did they mention anything about your platelets being low etc.?
