Tiny, hard, non-painful zit that hasn't gone away for months...

Recommended Posts

Hey ya'll. Ever since getting off birth control last year and moving to Japan, my acne went crazy. I started using Clinique's acne line and now my acne is much more under control.

Ever since about last December, I've had a fairly big zit...thing on my cheek. It's just barely a centimeter in diameter, and it has come to the surface and exploded once or twice. But unlike the rest of my acne that explodes and heals, it never fades and flattens out - it just stays a hard lump on my face. It doesn't hurt at all, there honestly doesn't seem to be any puss or anything in it - it's just a hard red lump.

Does anyone have any idea what is up with this thing? Is it even a zit? Will it ever go away on it's own?

I'd rather not go to a dermatologist because the last time I went to one here, he just tried to give me antibiotics, which I can't stand.

I appreciate any insight into my weird bump lol
