What can I do against these scars?

Recommended Posts

Hey all

I'm new to these boards and was looking for some advice on what would be most effective on these scars.

i've had these scars for around 3 years now. They are red and seem indented. When i feel that part of my face though, for the most part it seems smooth but it does look indented.

Any thoughts at all?

Thanks

Nothing man. Use differin or a retin A. Your skin looks acne free or pretty close to acne free. Good for you. Honestly, those are nothing to fret about. If you had a awful scar on your cheek, chin or forehead that, you could not stop thinking about, you would seek help but, I would leave that alone. Use those topicals I mentioned above. Supplements as well but, first, talk with your doctor. Good luck man.

Thanks for the reply! I don't think those pictures didn't show the scars very well though. There is quite a bit of scarring there. I've attached another pic. What do you think?

What types of supplements would help?

Thanks again

It doesn't look that bad. It is frustrating though. Eating healthy, holistic nutrition, seeing others stuff themselves full of pizza whereas, we battle scars & acne. FML. Try to build up yourself esteem. I wouldn't do anything extensive for the scarring. Honestly, it doesn't look that bad.

you have extremely shallow scarring

best for you is probably subcision

but tca cross, phenol peel, or laser would all raise them up
