The type of bumps I usually get are like oil bumps under the skin chronically on my chin and cheeks and occasionlly on my forehead. The bumps are never red or inflamed. Anyway, the dermatologist prescribed retin a micro for me and I've been reading about how it sheds layers of the skin and all the side effects and I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice as to whether I should use it or not, or if anyone thinks it will even be effective based on the type of bumps I get because I'm kind of scared that the side effects will be worse than the problem.
