Thinking of switching to a beard trimmer to limit ingrown hairs/acne from shaving...which trimmer should I get??

Recommended Posts

I have never used a trimmer before and I am searching for a good one that will last me a while. It needs to trim evenly and not cut my face. I would also like it to have one of those built in vacuums that sucks up the hair as you trim. I would like it to have a nice range of lengths to trim including a very short one. I have been reading around and was about to buy the philips norelco QT4070/50 but I heard it doesn't give even trims and can cut you. price is not an issue.

i actually have that trimmer, the one you metioned, and i also have a wahls trimmer.

No, it won't cut you, even if you trim without the guard on. I don't think trimmers can cut your skin, because they don't have a blade like a shaver.

But, i am also paranoid that i might be cutting myself. lmfao
