As you can see in my sig, I've been using BP products for almost a month and Dan's BP for almost 2 weeks. It seems to be going very well in terms of preventing new acne -- I've had NOTHING inflamed since then, only lots of easy-to-extract clogged pores that I attribute to purging. However, I have noticed that the red spots from previous spots are lingering more than usual, and so not surprisingly, I'd like to get rid of them! :D

Does anyone have experience using AHA, or, better yet, apple cider vinegar whilst on the Regimen? From what I understand, AHA is designed to help eliminate red spots faster, but it'll be a hard sell to get my parents to spend another $27 on a product I'm sure they won't want to buy. *Would* ACV do the same thing? Do you have any other suggestions?

Or do I simply need to keep some things on hold until they fade on their own? :shifty:

You may add in Dan's AHA+ lotion after you have been on the Regimen for a month. Dan likes to use it 2-3 nights per week instead of the usual moisturizer.

As for ACV, we don't have any experience with it so I would say hold off on it. The AHA is 10% glycolic acid and should be all the acid you would need.

Here's some info on red marks. http://www.acne.org/faq.html#redmarks
