Mdawg202 0 Author Share Posted August 13, 2004 was using clearisal "pore cleansing pads" with 2% SA and aloe, great stuff!
DarkDragoon 14 Share Posted August 13, 2004 I use Neutrogena Oil-Controling Astringant. I like this better then the pads (you apply this with a cotton ball) because I think its a little stronger and seems to work better.. and you can put more of it on and it doesnt really dry you out. Hitman 0 Share Posted August 13, 2004 yes for teh red marks Salicylic Acid seems to work good, u may want to try a higher concetration , start with 5% then 10%, etc
Juliet 0 Share Posted August 13, 2004 i've never seen any OTC products that have a higher percentage of SA than 2%. what brands have u seen that has 5-10% SA?
Teepot 0 Share Posted August 14, 2004 Salicyclic acid DEFINITELY improves red marks. The reason it does this is because it encourages your skin to shed it's surface layer, exposing healthier, less damaged skin underneath.
