I use Neutrogena Oil-Controling Astringant. I like this better then the pads (you apply this with a cotton ball) because I think its a little stronger and seems to work better.. and you can put more of it on and it doesnt really dry you out.

yes for teh red marks Salicylic Acid seems to work good, u may want to try a higher concetration , start with 5% then 10%, etc

i've never seen any OTC products that have a higher percentage of SA than 2%. what brands have u seen that has 5-10% SA?

Salicyclic acid DEFINITELY improves red marks. The reason it does this is because it encourages your skin to shed it's surface layer, exposing healthier, less damaged skin underneath.
