Do you wear sunscreen during winter in the north?

So I live in upstate NY and during the winter days, it is always cloudy and we rarely see the sun. I think its like that in Seattle and the upper states. Is it alright to not wear sunscreen?

It's probably not that big of a deal. It's hard for me to avoid wearing sunscreen on my face because my makeup is SPF 15 and my moisturizer is SPF 30, so I do wear it all winter. Remember, though, that some acne treatments can make your skin more sensitive to the sun, like benzoyl peroxide or antibiotics, so it may be a good idea even though you're not exposed to much direct sunlight.

It doesn't really matter on a day to day basis whether you see the sun or not. It's effect on your skin will mostly remain the same- I would keep wearing sunscreen. If you use a separate sunscreen and it's a hassle, get a good moisturizer with SPF.
