Retin-A vs Tazorac?

Sorry about that. Basically my derm prescribed tazorac to treat rolling scars so I figured it might be a scar treatment. Thanks for the link though!

Tazorac clinically is prescribed for acne nodules and cysts as well as psoriasis.

It has been proven that Tazorac can help photodamage over a long period of time, and as scars are a form of skin damage, scientists believe that Tazorac over time can help with scarring appearance.

This is highly debated and often inconclusive... but overall consensus is it does help.

Same with retin A.

Tazorac is a synthetic topical retinoid, whereas Retin A is a natural derivative of Vitamin A.

Google both for more information.
