Benzyl peroxide -break

I used to use benzoyl peroxide for long time. But about 1,5 yr ago it stopped working. So I thought, it was becouse bacteria immunize themselves.

Do you think, that now, after 1,5 yr break, it would be touch again?

It would seem to me like a 1.5 year break would certainly be enough time to allow bacteria to re-sensitivitize to BP, so yeah, if it worked the first time, give it another go. :)

I know a lot of people here will tell you that bacteria do not become resistant to BP, and in a literal sense that's true, but it's also true that the same evolutionary pressures that favor bacteria which can fight off antibiotics will also favor bacteria who can survive in a more oxygenated environment. As such, I would conclude that eventually, BP may become less effective. But in your case, I think that 1.5 years off would be plenty of time for the bacteria to forgot how to fight off BP. :P
