Difference between retional in the drugstore and a prescription?

Hey everyone.

I was curious what is the difference between them? Like I saw a commercial for a garnier lotion with retinol and was curious

Oh and do you know if there's an ib with the garner? Just curious for future reasons yhanks

"Retinol" is just another name for vitamin A. It's certainly not a prescription item. You can buy it over-the-counter in any health food store! :) You may be confusing retinol with Retin-A, which is most definitely a prescription drug. You can only get Retin-A through a doctor.

I've long suspected that unscrupulous companies put retinol in their skin products, just to confuse their customers into thinking that they're getting Retin-Ainstead of simple retinol (vitamin A). If true, I find such a scam to be absolutely reprehensible.
