neosporin (cream vs ointment)

Guest Timehealsall

Guys i have read how neosporin is good to use sparingly on those pimples that dont seem to go away, or on popped pimples. It is also supposively good for those pimples that are painful and look gross.

Anyways, my question is, what is better to use on pimples that are popped or on pimples that just hurt and look tender/red:

neosporin (cream) or neosporin (ointment)?

What does neosprin have in it that will destroy the cause of a pimple? It sounds mythical to me. It has a greasy base (as far as I can remember), and hypothetically, your just clogging your pores with with an outside entity your face doesn't like very much--> oil. If your face produces too much oil, you want to get rid of it, not add it! :shifty:
