Is the body unable to get rid of white pus?

Recommended Posts

I've often heard the advice that pimples shouldn't be popped. But it seems like pimples don't actually start healing until it's popped, all the white stuff is pushed out, and it bleeds a lot. I can also immediately feel the pressure relief afterwards. I once tried not popping and it lasted for weeks until finally I got tired of it and forced it out by pushing. If I had popped it earlier, those weeks could've been spent in the healing stage. Is the body just unable to get rid of this stuff by itself?
