Is it possible to move acne causing bacteria around your face?

Guest Timehealsall

I have heard interesting things how you can cause acne in other areas by moving bacteria to that area. One notable way is when you pop a pimple, the bacteria spreads and thus causes more acne.

I was wondering if there are any other ways you can spread acne bacteria? Would something like cleansing with a cleanser or exfoliating with jojoba oil spread acne causing bacteria?

What about applying Benzoyl peroxide near areas that never really break out? I noticed that if i apply BP on an area where i rarely break out, i tend to break out there.

what do you guys think?

I think you overanalyze things that really don't need THAT much thought. :P

Things to think about: 1. are the hands clean prior to applying stuff to face? 2. Is the face itself clean? If answer's yes...then don't worry about it unless of course you open up a pimple and then purposefully spread it around.
