100 % pure jojoba oil vs organic jojoba oil

Recommended Posts

i was looking at the desert essence website today and noticed they had two different types of jojoba oils, one was 100 % pure jojoba oil and the other was organic jojoba oil.

Wats the difference?

Here is the exact link, just scroll down:

jojoba oil is made from a seed of a plant.

now organic means that the plant itself has not been tainted with pesticides, herbicides, etc. just all natural.

100% oil is just that the product is 100% jojoba oil and not anything else. it does not mean that product is made from an organic plant.

the organic product is 100% jojoba oil and organic. that is why it is a little more expensive but worth it.

so basically i should have gotten the 100 % organic one instead of the 100 % pure?

Is 100 % pure still good though?

They'll work equally well. No big deal. It's like filtered water vs. tap water. Both are fine and safe to drink and will keep you equally hydrated. But given the choice, who wouldn't choose filtered water? Its the same type of scenario.
