Some people say to use extra virgin for dressing and dipping and regular olive oil or grapeseed oil for cooking. Having been to Europe, I know that the people around olive oil producing areas use extra virgin for everything. But they don't really deep fry anything either, which I believe is one of the things people point out as a reason not to use extra virgin olive oil.

From an acne point of view, olive oil is good stuff. For general health too, of course.
