Hi everyone smile.gif

I recently started on Dianette for my mild/moderate acne and was just wondering if anyone else here had tried it.

Did it take long to work? I started two weeks ago and though I've heard nothing but good things, and my doc has told me that it'll take a few months to see any difference, I'm still a bit apprehensive. I suffered from acne all through my teens (I'm 20 now) and as a result it's given my self-confidence a real bashing. I'm just praying that Dianette will work, but I actually broke out really badly last week. sad.gif

Hope anyone here can share their success stories!

I started diane 35, the same thing as dianette, 2 weeks ago as well. I can report same results. I had a bad breakout on my chin (my problem area) and am totaly discouraged.

I think it's not supposed to happen on this pill.I know it takes time to actually see any good results, but it's not promising for now.

Like you, I also had mild/moderate acne throughout my teens, and finally derm put me on diane.I also use differin and BP wash.

I hope it starts working for us soon.

When I was on Diane it took about 2 months for my skin to get better. I remember it got real bad then it cleared up 100%. I had to stop it cause it made me a emotional mess and killed my sex drive.

I've been on Dianette for about 5 years now and it worked great initially but has definitely lost practically all of its efficiency now! I'm considering changing pills very soon as there seems to be no point in being on Diantte anymore.
