meller 0 Posted August 7, 2010 When a whitehead emerges on my face, I NEVER touch it! I've learned my lesson. This morning, I woke up with a nice, large white spot above my lip, and I was determined not to touch it. Then, after going for a run, taking a shower and drying my face off with a towel, the white spot seemed to have shrunk. Then, after shaving, the white part basically fell off-- and it started to bleed a little bit. The same thing happened about a week ago with a different whitehead. There was only a little blood, but the next time I get a whitehead should I try my best to avoid this? Or is it a natural process of bursting?

nitemare 0 Posted August 7, 2010 Whiteheads bleed all the time if you pop them. That means you got it good. If I dont pop mine, they will end up popping on their own and bleeding in public. So I do it myself when they become huge.
