Hello,

I have had some red marks for five years, I started to treat them about two years ago.

The problem is that I'm not patient and I stopped everything I had decided to try when I saw no perfect results (silicon gel, epidermx (some good results), oil (rosier muscat)).

Now I want to be more serious and more patient. I searched and finded all I could about red marks, and finally, I have chosen AHAs.

My program :

August : Diacnéal (6% glycolic acid, twice a day) + sunblock

September : Diacnéal (6% glycolic acid, twice a day) + sunblock

October : Neostrata (15% glycolic acid) + sunblock

November : Neostrata (15% glycolic acid) + sunblock

December : Neostrata (15% glycolic acid) + sunblock

If it's necessary (I hope it will not be...) :

January : Mene & Moy (30% glycolic acid) + sunblock

February : Mene & Moy (30% glycolic acid) + sunblock

March : Mene & Moy (30% glycolic acid) + sunblock

April : Mene & Moy (30% glycolic acid) + sunblock

May : Mene & Moy (30% glycolic acid) + sunblock

June >>> forever : epidermx, the one which deceived me the less. Or maybe, lemon juice and aloe vera.

And, of course, drink a lot of water ! And I take vitamins.

Of course I saw dermatos. I had one KTP laser with one of them, no results. I had two erbium laser with other, no results (I don't know why he choosed this laser, I think it is for ice pick scars, not red marks). My new dermato confirmed what I was thinking, it is a vascular problem : so VBeam or IPL should be more interessant. I hope I will be able to try VBeam very soon, even though I'm confident about AHAs.

After the erbium laser treatment (Same thing, one week) :

I would like to know : can I use a moisturizer after the AHAs ? Will it have a consequence for the effectiveness of AHAs ? I would like to try a moisturizer cream with vitamin E, I think it could be good for the red marks.

What do you think about this one : Nivea soft. It is not expensive, and there is Jojoba and Vitamin E.

And what about AHAs, do you think it's better to use the cream, or the gel ?

Thanks a lot.

Hey dude! Why not lower your dosage of AHA from 15% to 10%, stick with the NeoStrata brand, and get an SPF 15 right included (mixed in) with the glycolic acid. Plus, get it all in a moisturizer!!!

http://well.ca/products/neostrata-oil-free-daytime_6613.html

Oil free even too! It has 10% glycolic acid (AHA), and SPF 15. Plus it's a lotion moisturizer, so you don't need to worry about using like 3 different things just to treat and protect yourself. Just wash your skin and then apply this.

Just an idea...

It seems to be a great idea. But I have begun with a cream (finally I didn't choose Neostrata, I choosed the enhanced cream from Mene & Moy, and I stopped Diacnéal) and I think I should go on with it. I have a good sunblock (spf 50) for the day so I think it will works.
The first 3 pictures how long is there between them?
First picture : 11/20/2009
