Thinking of Adding Baking Soda to my regimen

Recommended Posts

So I'm thinking of adding baking soda to my usual regimen.

My skin is not sensitive, but it has a tendency to be oily.

I'm planning on applying baking soda to my face. Two teaspoons and one teaspoon of water. After that I was thinking of applying the acne.org regimen i just bought. Any suggestions?

Please read the following post on pH and why your skin prefers acidic products. http://www.acne.org/messageboard/pH-import...-p-t144725.html The product you wish to use is alkaline and will damage your acid mantle and increase the risk of breaking out and irritation.

And if you plan to do the acne.org regimen, you're starting with one of the biggest mistakes, adding in steps or products.

Moved to acne.org regimen posts as this isn't a log.

i agree with the above. you definitely don't want to add products in this early on in the regimen. i have used baking soda though, it was a great exfoliator for me at times, but that's definitely not something you should be messing with at this time.
