Bumps left behind by inflamed acne

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I had some inflamed acne on the sides of my cheeks, and they seem to have calmed down somewhat (especially after some were given a cortisone shot). However, I've been left with these small, solid bumps. They're slightly raised on the skin, not terribly so but enough so that I at least notice them.

Will they go away over time? Is there anything I can do to expediate the process?

Also, how long after a cortisone shot into an under-the-skin pimple/nodule/cyst should I expect the full results to take place?

Thanks xo

I think I know what you're talking about - does it just feel like a small lump under the skin, but you can't really see it unless you're close up? I had those, and I use Benzamycin, and they go away eventually.

Thanks guys, this was really helpful =] As much as my skin hates me for it, I guess it's Benzac 2.5% for a while >.<
