I've been undergoing fraxel restore treatments and have been on anti inflamatory drugs for a few weeks now and had a treatment done a few days ago while on the drugs.

I am reading now that i should NOT be on these after fraxel why is this so? I have stopped taking them as of today and will start again in a couple days but what is the exact reason as to why fraxel patients should not be on anti inflamatories? I'm worried.

anti inflammatory drugs as in Nsaid and aspirin are blood thinners. it may effect healing process if people take it during, right before or post surgery.

Some people believe it affects the healing of wounds as they believe you need inflammation to initiate the placement of collagen, elastin etc. I don't generally agree and find anti inflammatories help most of us. Remember that we scarred in the first place due to an increase or over reactive inflammatory response.

I don't feel it will reduce your results atal so don't worry!
